On 25th August 2019, 25 Young Adults organised a Walk for Values at Jalan Raja Dihilir, Ipoh, in collaboration with the Ipoh City Council and Ipoh Car Free Day The walk was held to raise the awareness of human values in the community. The event, attended by about 1,000 people from diverse ethnic backgrounds, aimed to curb the vices of bullying and violence, especially among children and young adults. Activities included hand painting and making placards displaying various environmental messages on the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). There were several booths on human values, anti-bullying, and animal awareness, in addition to a river rangers booth. A float showing the five human values was also on display. Finally, national songs were sung to commemorate Malaysia’s Independence Day.
