On 15th August 2019, more than 20 SSIO volunteers in Thailand began conducting English-speaking classes by telephone for teachers at the Sathya Sai School. The program, called “Phone Your Friend” (PYF), will help the teachers communicate in English and encourage their students to speak English. Using course material from the Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini in India, the volunteers conduct 30-minute sessions twice or thrice a week. Some of the PYF volunteers joined a two-day teachers training course on SSEHV. The participants developed great appreciation for the teachings of Sathya Sai Baba and remarked that these profound but simple teachings will help them lead a happy life, in the service of others.
