On 17th December 2017, seven volunteers from three Sathya Sai Centres in Azerbaijan distributed gift bags to 36 children at an orphanage, each bag containing oranges, tangerines, pomegranates, apples, bananas, eight types of sweets, kozinaks (a sweet made from nuts and seeds), cookies, waffles, biscuits, nuts, a toy, and a New Year’s mask. The volunteers also helped the younger children prepare gifts for their friends. The older children enthusiastically participated in a lesson on appreciating the beauty of nature and seeing the inner beauty in each person.
