The U.N. General Assembly proclaimed 22nd April as Earth Day to draw attention to the threats to the balance of Earth’s ecosystem and to encourage everyone to take greater care of the environment. On Earth Day 2018, 30 volunteers, including nine members of the SSIO of Azerbaijan, planted 21 olive trees at a local orphanage. The volunteers interacted with the children, played games and discussed living in harmony with nature. The evening ended with a tea party, infusing the environment with love and unity.
