From 31st October to 2nd November 2014, about 90 Sai Youth and others attended a national youth retreat organised by the SSIO of Mexico in San Luis Potosí, under the theme, “Develop your character. Be happy.” Lectures, games, rallies, plays, meditation, and devotional programmes were organised to underscore the practice of human values as taught by Bhagawan, in order to lead a happy life. The activities focused on Swami’s teachings on practical spirituality, such as selfless service, implementing a ceiling on desires, coordination of head-hand-heart, and many other such themes. Senior devotees served the attendees to set an example and shared their experiences and wisdom. A workshop was held on effective and loving communication. An exhibition on the life and teachings of Bhagawan, titled “My Life Is My Message,” and a children’s programme were also organised.
