The Tama Sathya Sai group celebrated Bhagawan’s Birthday in Tokyo on 23 November 2014 with a four-hour devotional programme. In the afternoon, 108 names of Bhagawan were chanted, followed by a programme by the SSE children. Thereafter, the book, Sathya Sai Story, translated into Japanese for the first time, was offered at Bhagawan’s feet, and a student spoke, highlighting the Vedas as a treasure for humanity. An uplifting talk was given about the mission of the Avatar, the protection of righteousness, and the cultivation of scriptural scholars.

On 22 November 2014, 50 devotees from the Kawasaki Sathya Sai Group organised a programme with presentations by children ages 3–12. On 23 November, 30 Sathya Sai devotees from the three prefectures of Fukui, Ishikawa, and Toyama celebrated Bhagawan’s 89th Birthday at Harmony Hall, Fukui, for the first time, and SSE children presented a drama based on an episode from the Bhagavatha Vahini.
