In honour of Avatar Declaration Day, members of the Vilnius Sathya Sai Centre visited the Vilnius Children’s Social Care Home. The volunteers presented a concert, distributed delicacies, and entertained the residents with songs and drama on a spiritual theme that focused on the importance of sharing, forgiveness, and avoiding anger. Sathya Sai volunteers also danced with the children, played games, and offered fruits, sweets, and small gifts to the children, lovingly.

SSIO members from the Kaunas Sathya Sai Centre organised children’s entertainment and activities. Folk artist Egle demonstrated how to cut out paper angels, and helped the children to perfect their skills. The volunteers also resolved to support the children of poor families by distributing clothes and other necessities.

Members of the Sathya Sai Centre of Klaipeda organised two joyful events for children who are mostly orphans, living in two institutions, the Children of All Lithuania, also known as “SOS Children,” and the Center for Family and Child Welfare. The volunteers led spiritual songs and children’s songs, danced with the children, and served tea with sweets. Sharing love with the orphans was the greatest gift of all.
