On June 1, 2025, Children’s Day, 14 members of the SSSIO of Moldova, including 6 children, took part in the ‘Active Summer 2025’ project by spending the day in a forested park. The event was part of the Clean Planet festival in Zone 8 and started with garbage pickup, with the children eagerly joining in. The day included fun and educational activities. Younger children (ages 5-8) learned to distinguish between good and bad, made drawings, and watched a short video about a fly and a bee. Older children (ages 11-12) discussed time and energy, learning about the ‘Gods of Time’ in different cultures and how to manage time wisely, especially during the holidays. Adults listened to a short lecture on the importance of breathing and tried Pranayama exercises. The children enjoyed games while the adults engaged in insightful discussions. The day was filled with joy, and everyone left feeling refreshed, looking forward to future events.
