Being aware of the urgent need for blood at the National Blood Transfusion Service of Mauritius, the SSSIO Mauritius continues its efforts to conduct blood donation drives regularly across the island. The Sri Sathya Sai Center of Allee-Brillant, Floreal, arranged for yet another successful blood collection drive together with the National Blood Transfusion Service on June 8, 2025. Several volunteers and center members started working in the early hours of the morning and, with the help of the healthcare staff, successfully collected 71 pints of blood. These blood products were used to help with the daily demand of blood and blood components for patients in health care institutions in Mauritius.
