In observance of Serve the Planet Day, the SSSIO of Sri Lanka organized a series of environmental activities. On October 18, 2023, Sai volunteers dedicated a day to activities at Trincomalee Deer Park, feeding resident deer as well as street dogs. The Sai Center displayed its commitment to environmental sustainability through tree planting and raised awareness about waste management with posters on Waste Education. On October 20, 2023, to commemorate the Avatar Declaration Day, Sai volunteers provided nourishment to the resident monkeys at the Palampattar Temple Complex. These actions exemplify the transformative power of selfless service, reflecting love, unity, and care for the planet, as taught by Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
