Christmas can be a challenging time for families facing financial struggles. To provide some cheer to these families, SSSIO volunteers from the New South Wales Region of Australia generously give them Christmas hampers every year.
On December 14, 2023, Sai volunteers delivered 42 Christmas hampers to needy families at the Plumpton House School, which caters to students with special needs. In addition, they donated 30 Christmas hampers to the local families of the Tregear Public School, located in a poverty-stricken area. The hampers consisted of a mix of food staples, supplies, and Christmas items. The following day, 40 more hampers were delivered to the Tamil Refugee Care Program serving Tamil refugees in Australia. Over 400 people benefited from this selfless service. The communities welcomed the hampers as they provided not only much-needed materials but also uplifted their spirits during the festive time.
