On November 5, 2022, SSSIO volunteers from Atlanta, USA, delivered 12 water filters to provide clean drinking water to underprivileged families in Lima, Peru. Two filters were installed in two community kitchens, benefitting nearly 400 people. Families served by the community kitchens were thankful for the gift of pure water to prepare their food. The Institute of Sathya Sai Education of Peru and the Sai Sustainability wing are jointly developing a series of workshops to educate impoverished families about the benefits of using pure water.
