In January 2023, SSSIO members in Azerbaijan held their 8th Zonal Conference and Youth Festival in a two-day hybrid format on the theme ‘Modesty and humility make us worthy people and help us achieve Divinity.’ There were programs by SSE children and young adults, interspersed with many inspiring talks and discussions. The first day ended with a concert, including a performance on a national musical instrument, the Balaban, and an Azerbaijani folk song.
The second day was dedicated to the Youth Festival. It showcased the culture, customs, and traditions of Azerbaijan and its famous philanthropists in keeping with Sathya Sai’s message of honoring one’s motherland. The youth wing engaged the audience in a game and ended the festival with joyful devotional singing and sharing of experiences.
