In February 2022, 45 participants attended a four-day Zonal Council Meeting. The epigraph of the meeting was Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s saying: Follow my instructions and become soldiers in My army; I will lead you to victory.
Following opening speeches, leaders from various committees highlighted zonal events and projects such as serving the needy, environmental projects such as Clean Planet and caring for animals, spiritual workshops, Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV) classes, youth activities, camps, and Sai Olympic games.
The director of the ESSE Institute delivered an uplifting talk on praying for universal peace and resolving to follow Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings on spreading love and serving society while performing one’s duty in the organization.
The meeting ended on the fourth day with the Zonal Council leaders speaking on organizational matters and the Zonal Committees (Legal, Environmental, Security, Financial, and Medical) summarizing their work over the past year and plans for 2022.
