On May 15, 2022, 60 SSSIO members in Trinidad & Tobago held a multifaith program to commemorate Buddha Jayanti by installing a statue of Lord Buddha at Sai Nilayam. The guests of honor were Sister Tsunma Kunsang Palmo, a nun visiting from Tibet, and five representatives from the Bodhicharya Organization, Caribbean. Sister Palmo chanted ancient Tibetan mantras, followed by devotional singing. Then, she expounded on the teachings of Lord Buddha and her role as a teacher and ended with a personal reflection. The SSSIO of Trinidad & Tobago highlighted the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on unity in diversity.
