The 17th Annual Walk for Values was organised in Toronto on 26th May 2019 at Nathan Phillips Square in front of Toronto City Hall. The Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Parliamentary Secretary, Canadian Heritage and Multiculturalism and Member of Parliament from Scarborough - Rouge Park, opened the event. He read Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s message to spread love and peace in communities. The event was organised by the SSIO Canada and the Parent Council of the Sathya Sai School of Canada. Over 2,000 people participated in the fun-filled Walk, with a parade of colourful floats, bands, and values-based songs, with banners promoting Truth, Right Conduct, Peace, Love and Nonviolence. The event also featured food stalls and carnival games for children.
