In November 2018, the Ladies Wing of the SSIO of Philippines distributed food and groceries to more than 500 families in the Centennial C5 neighbourhood of Taguig City. During the service, SSIO volunteers noticed numerous other families in the area in need of help. Touched by their plight, they returned to the neighbourhood on 19th January 2019 and distributed 172 bags of groceries – each containing rice, beans, noodles and milk powder, bringing joy to many for the loving services rendered and the opportunity to serve selflessly.
