On 20th October 2019, the SSIO of Stockholm initiated a study circle aligned with Sathya Sai Baba’s emphasis on the unity of faiths and the oneness of humanity. Titled ‘Fika with the Masters’, educators from different faiths were invited to share the message of each faith over a ‘Fika’ – a Swedish tradition of conversation over coffee and cake. An educator from the Bahai faith shared small stories from the life of their founders, Bab and Bahaullah. There was a discussion on collaboration on service projects to make a difference in society. Messages such as the brotherhood of man and fatherhood of God, equality among all beings, and how one must follow the path of love and service were explored. Each of the 27 guests in attendance were genuinely inspired by the study circle and the messages shared.
