On 21st October 2017, young adults of Suriname organised a third Walk for Values, themed “Protect the Planet,” in the capital city, Paramaribo. About 200 people enthusiastically joined the 4.1-km walk. Participants received reusable bags, sewn as part of a service project, to encourage their use. The young adults, SSE children, and others painted the bags with inspiring quotes, such as “Love All, Serve All,” “Love Earth,” and silhouettes of Sathya Sai Baba. The young adults also organised values-based games, and the programme concluded with a live band playing inspiring songs about the environment and human values.
