On 30th April 2017, the SSIO organised a Walk for Values with the students of the Sathya Sai Human Values School in Colombia and their parents, teachers, and guests. With a goal of raising awareness of the importance of caring for Mother Earth and the environment, and using natural resources responsibly, participants shared these messages with the community of Funza through songs, poems, dances, and theatrical performances. Inspired, community members joined the walk. During the event, Sathya Sai volunteers and the public cleaned the streets and distributed magnets with “3Rs” written on them: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. The walk, which drew about 250 people, ended with a dance.
