Sathya Sai Baba’s life was celebrated in the English city of Leicester with enthusiasm on National Human Values Day, 24th April 2016. A Walk with Values event underscored one of Baba’s key messages to humanity: to foster unity in the community by practising the five universal human values of love, truth, nonviolence, right conduct, and peace, which are inherent in all human beings. The day also provided an opportunity to participants to express gratitude individually and collectively, with individual responsibility towards self and society for realising world peace as a central theme of the day’s festivities. Different faith groups and faith leaders participated in the joyous event, sharing the values and teachings of their respective faiths.
