Many children participated in a community outreach programme conducted by the SSIO of Trinidad & Tobago. Based on the interest shown, a team of Young Adults began offering SSEHV classes in April 2016, on every other Saturday, in St. Augustine to teach life skills and values with love and affection to 30 children, ages 5–16. The classes included sports, universal prayers, silent sitting, group singing, and other activities. The children enjoyed learning about self-confidence, good manners, living healthy lifestyle, and friendship. They also relished delicious and healthy meals, lovingly prepared and served by the volunteers. The group has planned a series of health camps to serve the children and their families, to be held in the near future.
