On Saturday afternoon, 2nd July 2016, Sathya Sai volunteers brought light and joy to refugees from Syria, Eritrea, and Afghanistan who had sought shelter at an asylum in the Netherlands. A caravan of cars transported refugee families with children to a rural farm in Amstelveen, near Amsterdam, where the children could play with animals, including turkeys, rabbits, chickens, sheep, and goats. The naturally serene surroundings provided a peaceful atmosphere, among beautiful trees and ponds. The playground at the farm also attracted the children, who played joyfully in the presence of their parents and the volunteers, bringing smiles to everyone. After returning to the asylum, a Sai choir presented songs in three languages about nature, love, joy, and God. All participants enjoyed the programme, and the refugees expressed gratitude for the loving services rendered by Sathya Sai volunteers.
