The SSIO of Taiwan celebrated the 90th Birthday of Sathya Sai Baba and the 19th anniversary of SSEHV in Taiwan, on 21st November 2015 in Taipei City with a programme for the local Chinese population. The event attracted 150 people, including about 100 from the general public. The celebration featured delightful songs and dramas performed by students of the Chinese Educare programme, the SSE programme, and the Chinese SSEHV programme. Representatives from the SSIO Chinese Youth Group, the Ladies Wing, and the Educare Programme also discussed their respective activities of the past year. Participants viewed a new SSEHV video at this event.
On 23rd November 2015, Sathya Sai volunteers visited two seniors’ homes in Tienmou to distribute cakes, fruits, and other food items. They invited the senior citizens to join in singing as well as uplifting group activities. In the evening, SSIO members gathered in the prayer hall in Tienmou for bhajans and sharing of a Birthday cake.
