The SSIO organised an annual regional youth conference during 17th to 19th July 2015, in the foothills of the southern Ural Mountains. Rain was forecast for the entire period of the event, and the conference started with devotional songs amidst pouring rain. But, when the youth ended singing bhajans, the rain stopped suddenly and the sun peeked through the clouds. The weather remained pleasant during the remainder of the conference – which was taken as a sign of divine grace. The participants stayed in tents along a mountain river and visited spiritual sites of interest. The volunteers cooked food and chopped firewood for the campfire. Classes on devotional singing were given and two group discussions were organised. All participants felt uplifted and inspired to continue their spiritual quest at the end of the camp.
