During June 2015, 25 SSIO members held a camp serving villagers in the Kemerovo region of Siberia. The volunteers cleaned, repaired, plastered, and painted a local stadium and club. They also repaired and painted an apartment and a house. The hosts were grateful for the loving services rendered. The head of the village set an example by joining in the work and presented a letter of appreciation to the volunteers. More than 100 Sathya Sai youth from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan came together to serve food to the needy in mid-April 2015. Their aim was to share love, joy, and food with their brothers and sisters. Youth and children prepared a meal consisting of soup, a porridge of rice and vegetables, salad, steamed vegetables, tea, and sliced bread and distributed the meals near churches and temples. In all, they served 485 people, who responded with smiles. Upon seeing the enthusiasm and happiness of the Sathya Sai youth who organised the project, youth from the public also joined in. An atmosphere of joy, happiness, peace, and goodwill lifted the spirits of all the participants.
