During January to April 2014, the Institute of Sathya Sai Education (ISSE) in Nepal organised a week-long training for 46 teachers. On 21st & 22nd March, a two-day training was given to 125 teachers at Itahari. A similar training programme was organised for 18 teachers at Charpane on 19th and 20th April 2014. From February to April 2014, the ISSE conducted introductory training courses for over 400 school teachers at Ghorahi, Kathmandu and Lamatar, Lalitpur. A SSEHV training was organised for the teachers of a leading private boarding school, at their request.
At the closing ceremony, the Chief Secretary of the Government of Nepal, who was the Chief Guest, applauded the work of the Sathya Sai International Organisation of Nepal. In addition, at the behest of the National Centre for Education Development, the ISSE provided one-day introductory training at four locations for 180 trainers. Sri Sathya Sai Scholarship was provided to 37 needy students.
