The Sathya Sai Human Values (SSHV) Institute in Puerto Rico organised a contest for the best human values stories on 26th April 2014. Teachers and parents from 32 schools entered the contest, and 18 stories, 10 by teachers and 8 by parents, were recognised with awards and read in front of the evaluation panel. About 72 people, including authors, guests, judges, and members of the SSHV Institute attended the event. All prize-winning stories would be published in a book in the future. The SSHV Institute also scheduled basic courses from 16th to 27th June, and in July 2014, both of which were filled to capacity.
