A national volunteer camp in Baranovichi district has been held every year since 2009. On 22nd August 2015, 17 SSIO members attended the camp and cleaned and repaired the facilities of a home for the elderly and the disabled.

A national medical and construction camp was organised from 2nd to 8th July 2015 at a boarding school for children in the Vinnitsa region, by 21 Sathya Sai volunteers from six Ukrainian cities. The project’s intent was to improve the living conditions of needy children.

The SSIO of Zone 8 held its Annual Zonal Sai Olympics in the Volga-Ural region of Russia in June 2015. On a bright sunny day, 46 participants from 13 Sathya Sai Centres joined in a spirit of unity and cooperation.
