On September 28, 2024, the SSSIO volunteers hosted a Public Meeting at the Ramatis Spiritist Society in Rio de Janeiro. The event featured a musical performance, a lecture, and a children’s performance by students from the Sathya Sai School of Vila Isabel, offering participants a reflective and joyful experience. The program began with chants celebrating God and human values, followed by a musical moment led by the SSSIO. Professor Dalton Amorim from the University of São Paulo, a member of the SSSIO Education Committee, delivered a lecture on “Human Values: Self-observation and Consciousness,” highlighting the transformative role of human values in daily life. The meeting concluded with a touching performance by children aged 5–8, who sang about human values, world peace, and making a positive impact.
Participants included 175 attendees—75 SSSIO members, 75 external guests, and 25 students. The event was supported by the Sathya Sai School of Vila Isabel, the Institute of Human Values, the Sai Foundation of Brazil, and local Sai Centers and Groups. Publicized through social media, flyers, and announcements, the meeting focused on sharing Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings and a commitment to creating a harmonious society.
