On February 25, 2025, Sai devotees from Centers around Toronto came together at the Pickering Event Center to celebrate Maha Shivaratri, a night dedicated to Lord Shiva. The celebration, held from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., featured a blend of bhajans and Abhishekam (ceremonial bathing of the Lingam) rituals. Bhajans echoed through the hall, lifting spirits and connecting all to the divine. Through five sessions of Abhishekam, devotees reverently offered milk, honey, and other items to the sacred Shiva Lingam, fostering a profound sense of peace.
Each Sai Center contributed uniquely and the youth brought energy and harmony to the night, highlighting the transformative power of collective worship. As the event concluded with the Lingashtakam chant, a serene peace enveloped all. Maha Shivaratri 2025 was more than a celebration; it was a divine experience, uniting hearts and voices in harmony.
