In the first ten days of July 2025, SSSIO members of the Central Region of Russia united in two gatherings, the Volunteer Service Camp and the Family Eco-Camp — filling the serene campgrounds with love, harmony, and service. The days began with selfless service, as adults and children cleaned and beautified the grounds, sang bhajans that sanctified the space, and prepared for the event. On the third day, they immersed themselves in the rich tradition of the Ivan Kupala holiday, celebrating nature’s gifts with heartfelt gratitude — weaving wreaths, cooking symbolic nettle soup, and rejoicing in games, dances, and sacred rituals under the summer sky. As night fell, glowing torches and candle-lit wreaths floated down the river, symbolizing the mystical “Wedding of the Earth and Sky,” leaving hearts brimming with divine joy.

The days that followed were vibrant with dedicated service — from caring for Sai Garden and assisting in the kitchen to supporting each other with every need of the camp. Children learned devotion and discipline through playful seva, while laughter, games, and shared meals nurtured bonds of unity. As the camp drew to a close, a joyous Guru Poornima celebration honored Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba with Vedic chants, bhajans, heartfelt sharing, and a children’s skit about the ideal student. Despite long distances and unpredictable weather, 26 devoted souls, including 7 children, came together for the event, each carrying home the bliss of service, nature’s beauty, and the eternal love of their beloved Swami.
