A family camp was held in the Volga-Ural region of Russia in early July 2024, focused on promoting family happiness through love and harmony. The camp involved 40 participants from nine cities, including 22 SSSIO members, 12 children, and six members of the public. The goal was to transform the participants’ character through values such as friendliness, respect, reverence, hard work, forgiveness, and gratitude. Participants formed three ‘families,’ with 13-14 people each. They engaged in creative hands-on workshops during which they crafted corrugated flowers, weaved bright mandalas, and created wax candles and key rings. Classes were also organized for children, focusing on mutual assistance, support, responsibility, caution, and caring for children.

The camp also organized a Sai Olympics and two excursions to the million-year-old Askin cave, where participants learned about the historical features of the region. The event concluded with a concert where participants displayed their newly discovered talents. Children and adults shared their experiences and discoveries, including their skills and understanding of themselves and others.
