On February 10, 2024, SSE (Sai Spiritual Education) children of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Seattle Eastside participated in a heartwarming project. Together with their SSE teachers and parents, the children volunteered at Pantry Packs. They filled food packs with nutritious items such as beans, fruit cups, granola bars, oatmeal, peanuts, milk, noodles, fruit squeezes, pudding cups, and fruit rolls.
The food packs provide essential sustenance for children from food-insecure households. The SSE students put their heart into the task, worked enthusiastically, and efficiently assembled more than 600 bags in two hours. The children felt uplifted to know they were supporting the well-being of every student who received the pack filled with nutritious food.
