As part of the SAI-100 initiative, 40 SSSIO volunteers in Hong Kong, including SSE children and Young Adults, planted several trees on April 23, 2023. The event, organized in collaboration with the Agriculture, Fisheries, and Conservation Department, was an offering of love to Mother Earth. A volunteer reflected on the event, “It was my first tree planting, and it was so gratifying. I enjoyed every bit – from the hike with my fellow Sai friends and family to the tree planting. I would love to visit my tree in the future. I am sure all the trees have been blessed by the positive vibrations of the Gayatri chanting. I am thankful for such a wonderful opportunity to serve the earth.”
