In late July 2023, a five-day summer camp was held for children aged 9-12 in a village in Moldova in the home of an SSSIO volunteer. Each day began with gymnastics and yoga. The children read parables, stories about Jesus, and passages from the scriptures. They also participated in Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV) lessons, where they learned about the five human values. Their favorite activity of the day was creative arts, where children drew, painted, and made crafts. All their works were exhibited every day so everyone could admire the children’s creations. The children also helped clean the room where classes were held and set the table where they ate. Every day, they looked forward to delicious pancakes or other sweet surprises. At the end of the camp, all the children received gifts: a set of markers, balloons, sweets, and a folder to keep their work.
