On June 21, 2020, the Sri Sathya Sai Centers of USA, Region 1 (Northeast USA) came together virtually for the graduation of Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) students. Each graduating student shared lessons learned, along with memories of fun times at retreats and their participation in various service projects. The SSE students also shared how the classes provided a safe and comfortable place to discuss their life challenges with their teachers. Parents were pleased with their children’s practice of Baba’s teachings that included treating everyone equally. The students also learned how to show kindness and compassion, tolerance, empathy, and open-mindedness when interacting with peers of diverse ethnicities and abilities. During the graduation, the National Education Coordinator, Ms. Aparna Murali, spoke on the importance of studying hard and taking care of one’s body and mind through sports and music.
