On March 1, 2021, the SSSIO organized a Sai-Mazing Race – a fun-filled family day to bring families together, following the trauma of the Covid-19 pandemic. Everyone met at the Perth Human Values Centre where they received instructions and were split into 11 teams, with one car per team. Each group then embarked on a road trip to solve a riddle with an educational message. They were provided snacks, water, and a garbage bag to collect trash along the way, especially recyclable bottles which are eligible for an official recycling program. The event gave the participants an opportunity to visit local landmarks, develop confidence, and enhance their awareness of Mother Nature.
