The town of Funza is located approximately 25 km northwest of Bogota. On 29th September 2019, the children and parents from the community of El Hato near the Sathya Sai school, Funza came together to share ideas about protecting the planet. The children suggested ideas on recycling to save water and energy and discussed ways to practise the three R’s – Recycle, Reuse and Reduce. In the end, all participants picked up trash from the local area to practise what they believed in.
