More than 60 people from Slovenia, Serbia, Bosnia, Greece and Croatia gathered at Villa Mare in the coastal town of Rovinj for a three-day regional retreat. The programme consisted of inspiring lectures and interactive workshops. Mr. George Bebedelis of Greece presented the Eight-fold Path of Devotion, as explained by Sathya Sai Baba in His seminal writing, Prasanthi Vahini. Mr. David Martincic of Croatia presented a broad overview of spiritual goals and principles, with reference to the Jnana Vahini and Upanishad Vahini, written by Sathya Sai Baba. In his presentation, Mr. Martincic discussed the true nature of the world and the need to adjust one’s vision accordingly. Mr. Severin Trifunovic of Slovenia emphasised the responsibility every spiritual aspirant has towards spiritual and personal development and encouraged participants never to give up the daily practice of Sadhana. The Sathya Sai Young Adults of Croatia and Slovenia gave two presentations on Serve the Planet project. The attendees participated in two interactive workshops, where they gave insightful feedback and the SSIO leaders of each country briefly presented their local projects and activities.
