On 9th June 2018, the Sathya Sai Institute of Human Values presented a workshop for 48 teachers from public schools in Ciudad Delgado, El Salvador, who had participated in a 48-hour basic training course last year led by Dr. Art-Ong Jumsai, Member of the International Education Committee. During the workshop, the teachers identified a lack of space as an obstacle to conducting parent-teacher meetings, which are an important component of the Sathya Sai Human Values programme. To address this, the Sathya Sai Foundation of El Salvador built a stage and covered a basketball court at the Goldtree School, providing a venue where 600 parents can watch their children present folk dances, dramas, and music programmes, including human values songs by student choirs.
