Students from the Sathya Sai School in Chatsworth, South Africa, excelled in the annual national matriculation examination by securing a 100 percent pass rate, a feat achieved by very few schools. The students received a total of 39 distinctions, with 80 percent of the students securing admission to bachelors’ degree programmes. Shivar Gopaulsingh, head prefect and provincial chess champion, was featured in a leading national newspaper as one of the top five learners in the provincial Department of Education. Education Department Circuit Manager, Ms. Mydene, commended the school for the holistic development of its students and recognised the commitment and hard work of all the stakeholders.
