SSE children, families, and teachers from the Sonjastraat Sathya Sai Centre visited the Paramaribo Zoo on 10th August 2017, as part of the Protect the Planet project. The outing provided an opportunity for children to experience proximity with exotic animals and shower love and attention on them. After a prayer and welcome speech, the visitors walked through the zoo, guided by the National Educare Coordinator of the SSIO of Suriname. The children were also informed about the dangers of plastics and their impact on various animal species. Sathya Sai Young Adults shared information on recycling of plastics with the children, increasing their awareness through interactive games.
