On 24th February 2017, 54 members from two Sathya Sai Centres and seven Sathya Sai Groups from the Volga-Ural regions of Russia celebrated Mahasivarathri, along with 30 of their friends. The participants started the much-awaited festival day with a service project. The programme thereafter included narratives about Mahasivarathri, videos on the celebration in Prasanthi Nilayam, and prayers and devotional singing.
