Dr. Pal Dhall, Chair of SSIO Education Committee, was invited to conduct a two-day workshop on 25–26 February 2016, for directors of Institutes of Sathya Sai Education (ISSEs), principals of Sathya Sai schools, teachers, facilitators and trainers from Paraguay, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, by Ms. Juanita Villa, Director of the Colombian Institute of Sathya Sai Education in Human Values (SSEHV). Sharing their work amongst themselves and discussing day-to-day practical issues was a great learning opportunity for the educators from Latin America. A seminar was conducted on “Mind Maps” to improve presentations made by the participants during educational workshops. The participants discussed the history of their involvement with Sathya Sai educational movement, strengths and weaknesses of the ISSE’s and schools, and SSEHV programmes. Discussion were held in small groups on the development of educational programmes for the next two and five years.
