In honour of Earth Day, 70 SSIO members assisted with beautification of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist temple in Auckland on 23rd April 2016. The event began with a prayer invoking Lord Buddha’s blessing along with protection for Mother Earth, and concluded with a sermon from the Abbess, a senior nun.
