Four times a year, the SSIO serves needy residents in the southern outskirts of Lima. Volunteers provide services in general medicine, obstetrics, dentistry, and psychology, and distribute medicines, free of cost. On 19th July 2015, the SSIO sponsored a medical camp in Ticlio Chico, Lima. Two dentists, one obstetrician, and three psychologists offered loving medical care to 35 pregnant women, mothers with young children, and grandparents, in a five-hour session. The medical camp served SSIO members as well as the public, some of whom were inspired by the loving services rendered and wanted to learn more about the SSIO. Sathya Sai Education in Human Values classes were also conducted for 50 children, and volunteers served lunch to 250 people.
