Sathya Sai volunteers in Southern California organised the annual Corona medical camp on 15th March 2014 for the benefit of local low-income, immigrant families. Over 600 medical professionals and volunteers provided health care services to 607 needy patients, including blood tests, ECGs, PFTs, urinalysis, BMDs, mammogram and Pap-smear tests, as well as consultation in primary care, specialty medical areas and psychology. Dental services were rendered to 267 patients who also received dental care kits. Children under 5 received consultation with First 5 Riverside Agency, which offers childcare, healthcare and educational services for young children. Vision tests were conducted, patients with glaucoma were treated and 400 spectacles were distributed. Psychiatrists and psychologists saw 20 patients.
