On September 21, 2025, the Young Adults (YA) Wing of SSSIO Barbados hosted the annual Sai Center retreat based on the theme ‘Purity is Enlightenment – Exploring Sacred Living through Purity.’ The program included satsang, an SSE project, and two interactive workshops. 
Facilitated by YA Coordinator Ms. Akshata Chugani, the first workshop focused on external purity based on Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s teachings. Activities included the Purity Check Game, Purity Compass discussions, the Garden of Life Pure Habit Tracker, and the Aura of Purity game, specially designed to develop an understanding of what impure habits looked like in modern life and how to implement constant integrated awareness to rectify them with more pure habits.
The second workshop, facilitated by YA Ms. Juhi Bhojwani Thani, addressed internal purity related to thoughts and feelings. Activities included the Mirror Check Game to build self-awareness, discussion rounds, a debate on internal versus external purity, and guided meditation followed by art-based reflection on impure and pure tendencies.
The retreat concluded with closing remarks and acknowledgements from the YA Coordinator.
