In the aftermath of the devastating floods caused by the Ditwah cyclone, Sri Lanka stood shaken by loss and uncertainty. Volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Centers across Colombo, the Western and Southern regions, and the Northern Seva Centers of Jaffna, Vadamarachchi, Sangaanai, and Siththankerny came together in a spirit of unity, tirelessly cooking, packing, and distributing food and dry rations to families who had lost almost everything.
From Gemunupura and Wellampitiya to Thirumalpuram and Inba Cholai, the volunteers served affected communities, carrying not just nourishment but hope. By Swami’s grace, more than 4,400 meals and over 450 dry-ration packs were distributed, restoring dignity and reassurance to those facing immense hardship. This was more than humanitarian relief—it was love in action, a reminder that humanity triumphs even in the darkest times.
